With over 13 million guests a year, The Tussauds Group is Europe's largest operator and developer of visitor attractions and is sixth largest in the world. In 1998 the Group was acquired by Charterhouse Development Capital after 20 years of ownership by Pearson plc. Madame Tussauds London
Established over 200 years ago, Madame Tussauds today let guests feel what it's really like to be famous as they join in the fun with the world's most talked about people. New interactive experiences and live shows open throughout the year; learn to sing and dance like your favourite star, have a stylist make over for a celebrity magazine shoot and watch out for the live actors waiting to spring more than a few surprises on you! There's something different happening at Madame Tussauds all the time.

The London Planetarium is part of the Tussauds experience. A variety of stars show along with interactive attraction areas, are an exciting and educational way to discover the mysteries of the cosmos.

British Airways London Eye
British Airways London Eye is the world's tallest observational wheel. Opened in March 2000, its gradual 360 degree rotation gives passengers the kind of panoramic birds eye view of London usually reserved for airline passengers. The Eye is Britain's most popular paid for attraction with over seven million visitors since it opened.

Alton Towers
Alton Towers is UK's number one theme park, renowned for its groundbreaking and unique rides and attractions for the whole family and consistently attracting over 2 million guests a year. Set in 500 acres of stunning Staffordshire countryside, Alton Towers boasts more major thrill rides than any other theme park in Europe, including the awesome Nemesis, Oblivion and Air, as well as two on site hotels and a waterpark.

Alton Towers Hotel and Splash Landings Hotel
The only two hotels owned and operated by the Tussauds Group, both situated at Alton Towers in Staffordshire. The Alton Towers Hotel opened in 1996 and Splash Landings opened in June 2003. The latter is the first waterpark hotel in Europe and both have access to the stunning, fully themed Cariba Creek waterpark.

Thorpe Park
Thorpe Park in Surrey was acquired by The Tussaud's Group in 1998 and has since grown into the fastest changing theme park in the UK. Massive investment in thrilling rides and attractions, including Colossus, the world's first ten looping rollercoaster, has made this a 'must do' Park for young adults from the South of England.

Chessington World of Adventures
Chessington World of Adventures is where younger children can really let their hair down, with masses of fantastic family attractions, including 'Beanoland' for mischief making mayhem and the Land of the Dragons for fantasy and excitement.



Warwick Castle
One of England's top ten historic houses, Warwick Castle, set in 60 acres of magnificent grounds, is home to 1,000 years of secrets, stories and legends. From the time of William the Conqueror to the Victorian era, this vast mediaeval fortress has survived the ever-changing fortunes of history and today attracts nearly 800,000 guests a year.
