Madame Tussauds Hong Kong Gets Hands On at ITE

HONG KONG (June 15, 2006) Trade buyers and visitors at the International Travel Expo (ITE) can go home with an unusual souvenir this year - a wax model of their own hand!

Madame Tussauds Hong Kong will have a wax hand making machine available at the booth from June 15-16 and visitors are invited to drop by and get immoralized in wax.

Kelly Mak, Head of Marketing and Customer Services, said: "The wax hand model making is one of the most popular things that guests can do at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong and I would like to invite every ITE trade visitor to drop by and experience it for themselves."

Located at The Peak, Madame Tussauds Hong Kong unveiled its new look to the public on May 18 with a series of special events including an appearance by Canto-pop star Aaron Kwok to personally unveil his wax likeness.

Madame Tussauds Hong Kong re-opened following a six month renovation at a cost of HK$20 million, the world famous attraction transports guests to the glittering world of celebrity over three expansive floors and five themed areas: Hong Kong Glamour, Music Icons, Historical and National Heroes, The Champions and World Premiere.

Guests can journey through the interactive attraction stopping to mingle with the stars in a range of themed settings and be astounded by over 100 incredible wax likenesses of celebrities, world leaders and sports heroes.

Madame Tussauds Hong Kong is at Booth Number D01 at the International Travel Expo.
