(HONG KONG – July 10, 2007) Voted the celebrity that best represents the fun and vibrancy of "Summer", Madame Tussauds Hong Kong will soon welcome singing sensation Janice Vidal to its hallowed halls.
"Janice is an up and coming super star and has a loveable character that is adored by her fans. Janice's bright, summery smile achieved the highest number of votes to take the title of the attraction's first "Your Celebrity Choice for this Summer". We're delighted to include Janice as part of our incredible celebrity line up of over 100 amazing wax likenesses," said Kelly Mak, Head of Marketing and Customer Services at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong.
During the sitting, which took over two hours, Janice impressed the Madame Tussauds sculptors from London with her natural charm and exuberance, qualities that they plan to immortalize in her finished wax figure. To complete her look, Janice donated a green ballerina-inspired costume which she wore in a recent pop concert to create a truly authentic experience for guests, which was also a special request from the creative team.
Ian Taylor, the official sitting photographer said, "Janice is naturally photogenic and her enthusiasm towards being a part of Madame Tussauds history was wonderful to see."

Set to feature in the Hong Kong Glamour section of Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, Janice's wax figure will be unveiled in mid-July.
